I got asked this in a job interview 20 years ago and it gave me a terrible shock as an 18 year old, but it made me define what my personal values as an instrumental teacher were.

How do you retain students over a long period of time?
What would we do differently if we had a do-over?
This one is self explanatory I think.
Personally, I would be more patient and more able to see the student as a child, not simply a collection of musical problems to be fixed.
